David Tyler (businessman)
David Alan Tyler (born 23 January 1953) is a British business executive. , he is the chairman of Sainsbury's, the chairman of Hammerson,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Retirement of John Nelson as Chairman – to be succeeded by David Tyler )〕 and a non-executive director of Burberry. He is a former chairman of Logica and a former finance director of GUS.
== Personal background ==
Tyler was educated at Rendcomb College from 1965 to 1970. He then read Economics at Trinity Hall, Cambridge from 1971 to 1974, earning a Bachelor's degree in 1974 and a Masters degree in 1977. He is divorced, with two children. He lives in central London with his partner, Margaret Fingerhut, the pianist.
